FAQ
-
The Men's Study Group is designed to help men grow in their faith while exploring practical psychological principles that support mens spiritual and mental growth.
-
No. This is not a therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment group. The Men's Study Group is an educational, faith-based discussion group intended to encourage learning, reflection, and personal growth. It does not provide mental health diagnosis, treatment, or psychotherapy.
-
The study group encourages participants to recognize when additional support may be beneficial. If someone is experiencing significant emotional or mental health concerns, they will be encouraged to seek care from a licensed mental health professional who can provide appropriate evaluation and treatment.
-
Not at all. Men from all backgrounds and levels of biblical knowledge are welcome. Whether you're new to Scripture or have studied it for years, the group is designed to provide a welcoming environment where everyone can learn and grow together.
-
Topics may include identity, purpose, relationships, communication, emotional health, stress, resilience, leadership, forgiveness, and other areas where biblical teaching and psychological principles can work together to support healthy personal and spiritual growth.
What To Expect
ShineBright is launching a Men's Study Group designed to help men grow in both their faith and emotional well-being. Through the study of Scripture alongside psychological principles, participants will gain the knowledge and practical tools to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and become active participants in their spiritual and mental health journey. The study group will also emphasize the importance of recognizing when additional support is needed by encouraging men to seek guidance from licensed mental health professionals when appropriate while continuing to grow in their faith and within a supportive community.
