ShineBright In India: Providing Clean Water To Families

While not a traditional ShineBright event, one of the most meaningful impacts our team was able to support this year took place in India through a collaboration with Light Viewers Ministries. Together we worked with Light Viewers’ team  toward helping provide a basic but essential need for hundreds of families within the community, access to clean water.

Beginning in 2025, our team started conversations with members and pastors from Light Viewers Ministries about the importance of clean water and the challenges many families were facing without consistent access to it. Throughout these discussions, it became clear how important this resource was not only for daily living, but also for the health and well being of the surrounding families.

After continued planning, prayer, support, and collaboration, a water well was successfully built within the community. Today, that well is able to provide clean water access for close to 400 families.

For ShineBright, this project represented more than simply building a well. It was an opportunity for our organization to support a community in a practical and meaningful way while continuing the our mission of serving people through compassion. Access to clean water affects nearly every part of daily life, including physical health, stress levels, family stability, and the ability for children and families to focus on everyday responsibilities.

Throughout the process, we remained grateful for the partnership with Light Viewers Ministries and for everyone who helped make the project possible through support whether through donations, prayer, or encouragement. Projects like these serve as a reminder that even simple resources can create lasting impact within entire communities.

Looking back, this effort reflected our continued desire to not only speak about helping people, but to actively support communities in practical ways whenever possible. By working together with organizations already serving their local communities, we hope to continue helping meet both spiritual and everyday needs for families around the world.
